I found an error in NVidia drivers (9755), when you install Nvidia driver using Nvidia script, it search for conflicting files. But, in Debian Unstable, we found a Xorg 7.2, and the X11R6 path isn't the same of 7.0,
from
(7.0) /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/
to
(7.2)
/usr/lib/xorg/modules/
If when you start Xorg, you found this errors :
(EE) Failed to load module "glx" (module does not exist, 0)
(And/or)
(EE) Failed to load module "nvidia" (module does not exist, 0)
(EE) No drivers available
Fatal server error: no screens found
You need re-link nvidia driver and libglx
Nvidia Installer install its files in /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/ we need link them in /usr/lib/xorg/modules/
This script permit you to re-link correctly libglx.so and nvidia_drv.so, in the good folders.
cd /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/
mv nvidia_drv.so nvidia_drv.so.old
mv nvidia_drv.o nvidia_drv.o.old
ln -s /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/nvidia_drv.so
ln -s /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/nvidia_drv.o
mv libglx.so libglx.so.old
ln -s /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libglx.so
cd ../extensions/
mv libglx.so libglx.so.old
ln -s /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libglx.so
